Watercolors were very pigmented and opaque. It requires little water to activate but it seems like it dries fast so you have to add water often. I was very pleased with the quality and the little tin it came in was very cute. I also received my package faster than I thought. Tested on white and black, but my paper buckled so the black part looks a little messed up
